WHAT ARE SOY CANDLES?
Soy Candles are made from soybean wax which is manufactured from soybeans grown in the United States. The United States grows more than one-third of the world’s soybean crop.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF SOY CANDLES?
They are VIRTUALLY SOOT FREE, BIODEGRADABLE, CLEAN BURNING and LONG LASTING! Soy candles are healthier for you and your family to breathe and offer an excellent fragrance throw which will pleasantly scent your home. Soy candles have a lower melting point so they burn much cooler and up to 50% longer than traditional candles made of paraffin wax.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SOY WAX AND PARAFFIN WAX?
There's a BIG DIFFERENCE!
Paraffin is made of a by-product of petroleum refining and has been said to emit 11 toxins into the air while burning. Paraffin burns hotter than soy wax and produces a lot of "black" soot in the container as well as on your walls and furniture.
Soy candles are made from soybean wax which is biodegradable and a renewable source. Soy wax breaks down, safely and relatively quickly, into raw materials and disappears into the environment. If you spill a soy candle, it can easily be cleaned up with soap and warm water.
ARE THERE CHEMICALS ADDED TO YOUR SOY CANDLES?
NO WAY! Our soy candles are hand made using all natural soybean wax and LEAD-FREE natural cotton wicks. Our candles are fragranced with un-cut (undiluted) fragrance oils specifically formulated for use in soy candles and our "Soy Essential" Candles are fragranced with essential oils. Some of our candles do contain dyes, which are soy based and formulated for use in soy candles. However, all of our candles are available without dye in their natural creamy white color.

DID YOU KNOW YOUR CANDLE HAS A "MEMORY"?
I know it sounds funny, but let me explain…
The first time you burn your soy candle, it will start to melt or “pool” across the top. The candle seems to “remember” how far across it melted (pooled) the first time and will only pool the same diameter the next time you light it. You should let your candle burn one hour per inch in diameter the first time you burn it to insure that you get the most out of it. (Example: A candle 3 inches in diameter should burn for at least 3 hours the first time or until it has fully melted across the top)
If a candle is not allowed to pool properly, you can get the “tunnel” effect where you are left with a wasted wax on the sides of the container.
